On February 2, 2008, which was Ayn Rand's birthday, Dr. Tom Stevens formed the Objectivist Party. The Objectivist Party seeks to promote Ayn Rand's philosophy of Objectivism in the political realm. The following affiliates have been chartered:
On June 25, 2008, Dodge Landesman was appointed National Youth Coordinator (U.S.A.) for the Objectivist Party.
During our National Convention held on May 25, 2008 at The Buckhorn Exchange in Denver, Colorado, Thomas Robert Stevens (New York) was selected as the candidate of the Objectivist Party for President in 2008 and Alden Link (New Jersey) was selected as the candidate of the Objectivist Party for Vice-President in 2008. On June 14, 2008, Michael Reid, Jr. was appointed Treasurer for the Committee to Elect Thomas Robert Stevens President.
